FAQ

Ten questions we are asked before almost every first project. If yours is not here, the contact form reaches a producer rather than a queue.

Which countries do you cover?

All six GCC countries — the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman — from offices in Dubai, Riyadh and Doha. Kit travels by road within the region and by air when a date requires it.

How far ahead should we book?

For a conference or launch, four to six weeks is comfortable and gives time for drawings, venue approvals and a rehearsal. Festival and race calendars are usually planned six to nine months ahead. We do take short-notice work when the warehouse and the crew allow it.

Do you work with our existing suppliers?

Regularly. Plenty of clients keep their set builder, caterer or creative agency and use us for technical production. We will also work alongside another AV supplier when the venue appoints one, provided the responsibilities are written down before build.

Can we hire equipment without crew?

Yes. Dry hire is quoted from live stock levels with delivery and collection windows. For anything flown, rigged or driven by timecode we will quote a supervisor as well, because that is where most problems start.

How is a project priced?

From drawings and crew days, not from a rate card. You receive an itemised quote covering equipment, crew, transport, venue charges and rehearsal time, so it is clear what changes if the scope changes.

What happens if the show changes on site?

Changes are logged against the quote by the producer and confirmed in writing with you before the extra work is committed, unless it is a safety matter. Nobody discovers a variation on the final invoice.

Do you handle venue and authority approvals?

We prepare the technical submissions — rigging plans, load calculations, power requests, effects permits and safety documentation — and follow them through the venue and the relevant authority. The event licence itself stays with the organiser.

Are your crews insured and certified?

Public liability and employer liability cover are in place for every project, with certificates supplied on request. Riggers hold current IRATA certification, plant operators hold the relevant licences, and everyone on site completes a safety induction before work starts.

Can you stream the event as well as produce it?

Yes, with an important detail: the stream gets its own camera chain, its own mix and its own operator rather than a copy of the room feed. That is the difference between a recording and a broadcast.

What is not included in a quote?

Venue hire, event licensing, stand build, catering, artist fees and internet connectivity unless we have listed them. We do state any assumption that affects our price, such as power availability or load-in hours, directly on the quote.
