Education & Tech

Lectures, graduations, workshops and hackathons — speech-first audio, readable screens and capture that works the first time.

Education & Tech

Education and technology events live or die on clarity: a slide nobody at the back can read, or a lecture recording nobody can hear, undoes a whole programme. We design for legibility first and add the show afterwards.

Rooms are built to be operated by the client's own staff after the first day, with labelled racks, a one-page operating guide and a support line for the rest of the term.

Graduations and ceremonies

A graduation has hundreds of names, a fixed length and families standing at the back. We tune for speech, provide a repeatable handover for the reader's microphone and keep a screen visible from every aisle.

Photography and videography teams get their own lighting state and a clear view of the stage, agreed with the institution in advance so nobody blocks a sightline on the day.

Lecture theatres and teaching spaces

Teaching spaces need predictable technology: one button to start, the same input plate in every room and a fault that can be described over the phone. We commission the room, train the staff and document the setup.

Where the room is also used for public lectures, we add a presentation-lighting state and a recording output without disturbing the day-to-day lectern setup.

Workshops, hackathons and demo days

Hackathons run for days, across rooms, on very little sleep. We install resilient power, fast wireless and a stage that can be built in the morning for the demos at night.

Demo stages are set up so each team's laptop or console can be connected in under a minute, with a switcher operator and a countdown clock that everyone can see.

Recording and publishing sessions

Sessions are captured with the slide source recorded separately, then matched in post so the published video shows the slide full-screen rather than a camera shot of a screen.

Deliverables are agreed up front: file formats, naming, the platform's limits and the turnaround. Most programmes publish within forty-eight hours of the last session.
