New LED inventory takes the wall count past 9,000 m²

Curved cabinets, walkable floor panels and a second processing rack arrived in Al Quoz this month — and the test wall is already booked.

Four deliveries in six weeks took our panel count past nine thousand square metres. Two thirds of it is the standard 500 mm cabinet we use on stage walls; the rest is the curved stock, the walkable floor panels and a small rig of transparent tiles kept for product reveals.

Why the split matters

A stage wall is a rectangle until the set designer draws a curve. Keeping dedicated curved cabinets means a build does not depend on fabricating brackets on site, and the pixel map stays predictable from one show to the next. The floor panels are rated for a walking audience and use a different receiving card, so they travel as their own kit with their own spares.

Processing, not just panels

The second processing rack was the less glamorous purchase and the more useful one. Every large build now ships with a spare data path and a hot-swap processor, which turns a screen failure into a two-minute change rather than a redesign.

The permanent test wall in the warehouse is now two cabinets wider, which means content can be checked at full width before it is approved — including the awkward formats that only reveal themselves on a 12-metre surface.
