A second depot in Riyadh means KSA builds can be prepped in-country instead of trucked in the week before the show.
The Riyadh depot is open, with a twelve-metre prep bay, a small LED test wall and enough racking for the conference package that runs through the Saudi season. Kit that used to leave Dubai seven days early can now be built and tested in the city it will be used in.
What it changes on site
Two things, mainly: trucking risk and rehearsal time. Regional freight is unpredictable, and a build that depends on a single truck crossing a border is a build with a plan B written into the schedule. Prep in Riyadh means the plan A usually survives.
Local crew
The depot is staffed by a permanent team of five, supported by freelancers who work with us across the season. Arabic and English show notes are written in the office, not translated afterwards.
Our Dubai warehouse remains the main stock holding; Riyadh carries the conference, lighting and audio inventory the Saudi calendar actually uses, refreshed from Dubai between events.
